While the first batch of defendants in the corruption case involving PT Timah have been convicted, other suspects who were named a bit later have undergone their indictment trials, away from the media spotlight. Three of whom were found guilty recently. In relation to this case, the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) is still continuing the investigation and has named a corporate suspect. However, there was an unfortunate incident. Suparta, one of the convicts and key persons in this criminal scheme, passed away. How will the efforts to recover State losses continue after his death?
