Last week, the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) shocked the public after they announced an investigation into alleged abuse of authority and manipulation of sugar import quotas and named two suspects, including former Minister of Trade, Thomas Trikasih Lembong. Although the AGO has tried to provide an explanation, many questions have arisen, among the many officials, former Ministers, even serving Ministers, who have also been suspected of corruption, why is only Tom Lembong a suspect?
