As “agentic AI” becomes the newest buzzword in Indonesia’s tech and business circles, a narrative is rapidly taking hold: that autonomous AI agents will allow small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to finally “compete with big corporations.” The claim—promoted in industry articles and corporate press releases—sounds promising.
