China, the world’s second largest economy, imported US$6.2 billion worth of durian, the king of fruits, in the first nine months of 2024. Import for the full year of 2024 might have surpassed US$8 billion. Two countries are big winners there: Thailand (60.2%) and Vietnam (39.48%).
