Two weeks ago, on September 27, Meutya Hafid was summoned by President-elect Prabowo Subianto for a meeting at his private residence in Hambalang, West Java. The Head of Commission I DPR-RI is rumored to be the next Minister of ICT replacing Budi Arie Setiadi, who is known as a Jokowi loyalist. Although Meutya said they only had a discussion about the Commission I, it doesn’t negate the fact that her name is among the list of candidates proposed by Golkar Party to Prabowo for the minister positions.
