When the public focused on the trial of Harvey Moeis, the court proceedings of Toni Tamsil, the first suspect in the case of alleged corruption related to the illegal tin mining in the IUP area owned by PT Timah Tbk (TINS), had ended. Toni’s arrest paved the way for the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) to uncover the entire scheme. Separately, the trial of his brother, Thamron, known locally as the Tin King, recently started.
