Back in 2016, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) uncovered the Bakamla graft case which became the entrance to several other cases of corruption. The predicate crime also brought down PT Merial Esa as the corporate suspect. This case probably is one of the few examples of the KPK ability to carry out a somewhat thorough investigation.
