One of the largest shipping companies in the country, PT Meratus Line, have to face a debt restructuring process (PKPU) since May 2022. The process was accompanied with dispute with the creditors who filed the lawsuit and a criminal process. After several delays, the Panel of Judges finally read out decision and promulgated the peace agreement that was agreed upon with the majority of creditors towards the end of last week. Meanwhile the criminal process continues.
