Back in 2016, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) began the inquisition on the case of corruption involving the Directorate General of Horticulture in the Ministry of Agriculture. But the process took way longer than predicted. Of the three suspects announced, the KPK has only prosecuted two. Both were convicted in 2018. The last suspect had to wait six years before the KPK detained him earlier this year. This week, the last trial in the case finally started.
