Statistics Indonesia (BPS) on Monday (January 17) reported that Indonesia’s trade surplus had reached US$1.02 billion in December 2021, remaining high though it narrowed from US$3.52 billion in the previous month. For the whole year 2021, the country’s trade surplus totaled US$35.34 billion, higher than US$21.62 billion in 2020.
