On Oct. 18, 2021, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested several parties including the Regent of Kuansing Andi Putra in Riau in a sting operation. The Regent is the sixth regional leader arrested by the KPK so far in 2021. He is yet another Golkar politician embroiled in corruption.
