Two months ago, PT Jelajah Bahari Utama (PT JBU), an indirect subsidiary of PT Trada Alam Minera Tbk (TRAM) linked to Heru Hidayat, submitted an objection to the Attorney General’s Office (AGO). It objected to the institution’s plan to auction off some of the Company’s assets that are considered to be related to the allegations of corruption involving PT Asuransi Sosial Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia (familiarly known as PT ASABRI). However, the objection was not well received, and last week the announcement of the auction plan was made public. As a result, the two companies decided to file two separate lawsuits against the AGO’s decision to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN Jakarta).
