Last week the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court finally held the first hearing of the most-awaited trial related to alleged corruption involving State-owned insurance company PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero). The indictment revealed the details of the scheme, including how the six defendants help each other throughout the years. But despite the amusing details revealed in the indictment, the defendants insisted that they are not guilty as per the charges and submitted their objections during the hearing held on June 10, 2020.
