The South Jakarta District Court held the first hearing of the trial of lawsuit filed by PT Sushi-Tei Indonesia against Kusnadi Rahardja (the man who brought the brand to Indonesia) on September 9, 2019. The hearing was held but the Panel of Judges postponed it until next week. Separately, the same district court held the first hearing of the pre-trial lawsuit filed related to the continuity of investigation of the criminal case implicating businessman-cum-politician Hary Tanoesoedibjo. Hary, as we all know, was named a suspect for allegedly intimidating a prosecutor back in 2017. The police promised to explain their stance in the first hearing, but none of their representatives was present.
