The Singapore Court of Appeal recently published the verdict in relation to the appeal petition submitted by PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) and its subsidiary Bayan International Pte Ltd against the second tranche judgment of the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) in the proceedings brought by Binderless Coal Briquetting Company Singapore Pte Ltd (BCBCS) and Binderless Coal Briquetting Company Pty Ltd (BCBC), the subsidiaries of White Energy Company Limited (ASX: WEC), in connection with the long battle on the joint venture in Kalimantan, i.e., PT Kaltim Supacoal (KSC). The Court decided to dismiss the appeal petition in relation to all of the four main issues except for one matter.
