The bribery case involving the former Hanura politician Dewie Yasin Limpo has reached the finish line. On June 13, 2016, the Corruption Court of the Central Jakarta District Court read the verdict of Dewie and Bambang Wahyuhadi (her staffer). Both were found guilty for accepting bribes and sentenced to 6 years in prison with the obligation to pay Rp200 million in fine subsidiary 3 months imprisonment. But the Panel of Judges rejected the Prosecutor’s demand for the forfeiture of Dewie’s political rights.To subscribe please click here
