The Ministry of Law and Human Rights submitted the latest version of the Bill on the Criminal Code (RKUHP) to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on May 30, 2015. The President eventually signed and issued the Presidential Letter (Surpres) on the government’s readiness to discuss the 2015 RKUHP on June 5, 2015.
