Two years ago, PT Toray Polytech started commercial operation of polypropylene spunbond, raw material for disposable diapers, in Tangerang, Banten province with investment of around 3.2 billion yen. Early this year, international media reported plans from Toray Industries Inc (Japan) to expand the spunbond factory.
