The police have recently prevented 12 Indonesian nationals from heading to Syria, out of the 12 held at the port of Malaysia, 4 are adult males, 4 are adult females, and the rest are children. It’s unclear what the group’s real purpose were, but Indonesian authorities seems confident that they’re ready to join ISIS. It’s an interesting development given the circumstances around the globe with increase security alert in view of the recent hostage-taking situation in Sydney and yesterday’s deadly assault in Peshawar, Pakistan.
