Established in 1975 by Tan Mong Kong, United Bike began as a bicycle importer under PT Bintang Timur. The development into bicycle manufacturing did not happen until the early 1990s under PT Terang Dunia Internusa. Today, the company is managed by Stephen Mulyadi, Henry Mulyadi and Andrew Mulyadi.
