Bank Pundi Indonesia (BEKS) posted net profit of Rp21.2 billion in the first half of 2014, skyrocketed 489% from the corresponding period of 2013. With loan to deposit (LDR) of 90.72% and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of 10.92%, however, the bank’s future growth is fairly questioned by some. The bank’s ‘market value’ is currently slightly above equity and only one-fourth of Lippo Group’s NationalNobu Bank, which had total assets significantly smaller than Bank Pundi.
