The benchmark July contracts of crude palm oil (CPO) ended significantly lower by RM32 to RM2591 per ton Friday (May 2nd) after trading as low as RM2558 per ton. In Jakarta’s physical market, KPB Nusantara, the joint marketing office of state plantations, withdrew all of 10 CPO packages auctioned off (10,000 tons) due to low bids.
