Indonesia’s cement price is among the highest in the region. Per ton price is around US$114, more than twice of average cement price in China. In some remote areas like Papua, cement price could be more than US$300 per ton. Huge margins recorded by cement producers like Semen Indonesia, Indocement, and Holcim Indonesia have attracted more players, especially from China, into the market.
