Koperasi Kasih Indonesia (KKI) was founded by Leonardus Kamilius, a former business analyst at McKinsey & Co. He was inspired by Muhammad Yunus’s Grameen Bank and the microfinancing concept. Along with two of his friends, Petrus Partono and Lucyana Siregar, Leonardus established KKI on January 2011 in Cilincing, North Jakarta.
