Media attention on Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has only intensified ever since the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) declared him as its presidential nominee. The aim now is to solicit the names of Jokowi’s potential running-mate from the man of the hour himself. The only problem with that approach is that Jokowi won’t be the person calling the shots. The chairwoman of PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri will be the one to decide on who shall be Jokowi’s pair. So the question should be, how will Megawati decide? What’s on her mind?
