The South Koreans have done an incredible job at creating strong brands and products. According to the data compiled by the Wall Street Journal from IDC, the now ubiquitous Samsung smartphones comprise of over 40 percent of the global market share. It’s enormous. And Samsung is not the only South Korean Chaebols (conglomerate) out there. There are still Cheil Jedang (CJ Group) and SPC Group. The latter in particular may be entering the Indonesian market very soon.
