Less than two years ago, state-owned power generation and distribution company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) announced a plan to build Indonesia’s largest wind farm in Samas, Yogyakarta consisting of 16 to 33 wind turbines with US$100 million of investment. Now we have a new player with plans to build a bigger wind farm in South Sulawesi.
