Mitsubishi Motors decided to boost production of cars in the Philippines with the construction of second plant of 100,000 units per annum. The company considers Indonesia as another location for expansion, but yet to start the project. Mazda picked Thailand for expansion of its SkyActiv transmission plant (400,000 units per annum), but yet to make decision on Indonesian expansion.
