Pretty much as predicted, the central bank (Bank Indonesia/B.I.) has on Thursday (July 18) lowered its 7-day reverse repo rate by 25bps to 5.75%, the first interest rate cut since September 2017, in an attempt to support growth amid low inflation expectations. The overnight deposit and lending facilities were also trimmed by the same amount to 5.00% and 6.50%, respectively.To subscribe please click here
