Shares of Surya Esa Perkasa (ESSA), producer of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) which builds US$750 million ammonia plant in Sulawesi Island, rallied from below Rp1000 in January 2012 to as high as Rp3000 last year. It retreated closer to Rp1500 early this year, but has since regained grounds to reach Rp2850 today. The stock is not liquid, but deserved attention, especially because of its ammonia project.
