Netherland-based chemical company DSM invested US$124 million to build melamine resin plant in Bontang, East Kalimantan few decades ago. Unfortunately, the company ended up like PT Sri Melamine Rejeki, another melamine resin producer linked to state-owned fertilizer producer, in the bankruptcy lawsuit and rulings.
