We all know what happens after the 2024 general election. Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka won the contest for presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate by winning the most votes defeating the other two pairs, but this victory was challenged by the two losing pairs. The team representing Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD all filed a lawsuit over the general election results dispute (PHPU) to the Constitutional Court. The examination has been completed since April 16, 2024 and was marked by the submission of amicus briefs by more than 50 amicus curiae. What’s that? Will it affect the Justices’ decision? The Assembly plans to read their decision today, April 22, 2024.To subscribe please click here
