Earlier this year the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) announced their investigation in Central Kalimantan and named the then Regent of Kapuas, Ben Brahim S Bahat (politician from Golkar) and his wife, Ary Egahni Ben Bahat (NasDem), as suspects.
