Economic liquidity or money supply in a broad sense (M2) in April 2023 continued to grow positively. M2’s position in April 2023 was recorded at Rp8,350.4 trillion or grew 5.5% year on year (y/y), after growing 6.2% y/y in the previous month. The development of M2 in April 2023 was mainly influenced by developments in lending. Credit distribution in April 2023 grew by 8.0% y/y, after growing 9.8% (yoy) in the previous month in line with the development of productive and consumptive loans.
