Former Military Commander (Panglima TNI) Air Chief Marshal (ret) Hadi Tjahjanto has been sworn in as the new minister for agrarian reform and spatial planning, replacing Sofjan Djalil. As the new minister of agrarian, Hadi is also acting as the head of the National Land Agency (BPN). Hadi has been tasked by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo to prepare land for the new capital city as well as to solve some complicated issues regarding land disputes, land certification, and land mafia.
