Tyre-maker Multistrada Arah Sarana (MASA) booked a net profit of US$39.3 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, against a loss of US$2.41 million in H1 of 2020, as sales jumped 84% year on year (y/y) to US$199 million and gross profit soared 423% y/y to US$68 million. The Company recorded an operating profit of US$52 million in the said period, against a loss of US$0.25 million in H1 of 2020.
