Bank Indonesia (BI) overhauled the provisions on export proceeds and foreign exchange for imports as stipulated in Bank Indonesia Regulation (PBI) Number 22 of 2020, the decree showed. Several rules will be changed. The administrative sanctions on importers, which initially took effect on Jan. 1, 2021, will be postponed to Jan. 1, 2022.
