Main stock market indexes in Asia rose sharply on Monday after 15 economies in the region signed the largest trade deal in the world aiming at reducing tariffs. The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership is the first deal that includes China, Japan, and South Korea. The Nikkei and Kospi were up more than 1.5%, the Shanghai Composite rose more than 0.5% and ASX 200 increased more than 1% before the trading was halted due to “market data issue”.
