Global stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday (Oct. 6) with United States (US) stocks sharply falling after President Trump told his team to stop talks with Democrats on a fresh round stimulus until after the November election. The president tweeted that he asked Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to “focus full time” on confirming Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barret.
