Indonesia reported 3,046 new COVID-19 cases yesterday (Sep. 8). It also reported 2,306 healed, bringing the total number of active cases in Indonesia to 48,847. The COVID-19 Mitigation Task Force reported that Jakarta remains the highest contributor of new cases, with 1,014 cases reported on Tuesday. Indonesia’s rate of infection spread is alarming enough to put it in some countries’ no-entry list.
