Sabana Prawira Widjaja, the grandson of the founder of milk producer Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company (ULTJ), bought 1.3 billion ULTJ shares in the negotiation market with total value of Rp2 trillion. With the purchase, the family’ ownership added 2.09 billion shares or representing to 18.10%.
PT Indolife Pensiontama, life insurer of Salim Group, sold all shares of ULTJ on Friday (August 14) for Rp2.08 trillion value. Said shares were sold by Shinhan Sekuritas Indonesia. Indolife held 14.19% ULTJ shares. Other shareholders are Sabana Prawira Widjaja (32%), Prawiradjaja Prakarsa (21%), and public investors (33%).
