Despite the global economic downturn, state miner Aneka Tambang (ANTM) turned to profit in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, from loss in the previous quarter. It booked a net profit of Rp84.82 billion in Q2, while in Q1, it suffered a loss of Rp281.84 billion. Ebitda jumped to Rp794 billion in Q2 from Rp34 billion in Q1, supported by operation production and sales stability, and efficiency improvements that led to optimum cash cost level.
