Global markets closed mixed on Monday (Jan. 6) amid tensions in the Middle East, while Wall Street finished higher as investors appear to shrug-off geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. On Sunday, President Trump threatened to impose sanctions on Iraq and to attack several sites in Iran if the country retaliates over the Iranian general Soleimani killing. Meanwhile, Iran announced it would abandon the 2015 nuclear deal limits.
