The supporters of Golkar chairman candidate Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) held a meeting at the Sultan Hotel Jakarta. They expressed their disappointment in their Chairman Airlangga Hartarto, who didn’t let them use the Party’s headquarters. They urged Airlangga to soon hold the Golkar’s plenary meeting to evaluate the Party’s performance in the 2019 legislative election. Airlangga’s supporters, however, defended him by saying there was a reason for not granting the use of the HQ. They said the Party, under Airlangga’s leadership, indeed would hold a 5-day meeting starting tomorrow (Sep. 6).
