Bank Danamon Indonesia (BDMN) will boost its business after merging with Bank Nusantara Parahyangan (BBNP) and under the support of its parent, MUFG Bank Ltd. The merger was effective on May 1, 2019. MUFG Bank now controls 93.1% BDMN shares and controls 99.9% BBNP shares. MUFG Bank acquires BDMN at Rp9,590 per unit or Rp46.62 trillion. It acquired 92.1% BBNP shares at Rp4,088 or Rp3.01 trillion. On Friday last week (May 3), BDMN fell 15.49% to Rp6.000.
