The former President Director of Dana Pensiun Pertamina M. Helmi Kamal Lubis, who was named a graft suspect following the problematic purchase of shares of PT Sugih Energy Tbk (SUGI) two years ago, was found guilty on January 29, 2018. Helmi filed an appeal only to receive a heavier punishment in April 2018. Helmi filed a cassation once more. By March 2019, Helmi’s sentences were aggravated once again. He must now serve eight years in prison.
