Government and Budget Commission of House Representatives (DPR) set the budget deficit in the 2019 State Budget at 1.84% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), lower than 2.12% set for this year. The decline in the projected deficit had occurred since the past three years. In 2015, the state budget deficit was 2.59 percent. The deficit then slowly decreases every year.
