The rupiah weakened to Rp13,900 against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday (April 24) in line with global currencies as the U.S. dollar extended its broad-based strength prompted by rising yield of the 10-year U.S. treasury to four-year highs. Investors’ optimism over the U.S.’s economic prospect along with improving data and trade war tension between U.S. and China also boost the U.S. yield. To subscribe please click here
