Life insurer Astra Aviva Life suffered loss of Rp255.5 billion in the first quarter (Q1) ended March 31, 2018. It booked net premium income of Rp3.36 trillion, grew 21.3% from Rp2.77 trillion in Q1 last year. While payment of claims and benefit rose 27.8% to Rp3.09 trillion from previous Rp2.42 trillion. Its assets reached Rp4.3 trillion while liability amounted Rp3.7 trillion.
