Bloomberg reported that application-based transportation firm Grab will in near term acquire business of Uber Technologies Inc. in Southeast Asia region. Otherwise, Uber will own around 20% shares of Grab. Uber, based in San Fransisco, United States plans to launch the initial public offering (IPO) next year. Uber is also seeking loan of US$1.25 billion, equivalent Rp17.2 trillion.
